About Us: an Independent Editorial Team Covering UK Boxing Betting

boxingbetting.co.uk is an independent guide to betting on boxing in the UK. We review Gambling Commission licensed bookmakers on their fight coverage, explain every market in plain numbers and build free tools for checking a price. This page says who we are, how the site is paid for and how we work.

Who writes these guides

The guides, reviews and tools on this site are produced by the boxingbetting.co.uk editorial team, and they are published under the team’s name rather than an individual byline. Every page is written, checked and updated as the work of the team. We cover boxing only: the markets a bookmaker lays on a fight, how those prices are built, how the judges score a bout and what the rules say when a fight changes. We do not publish predictions for named fights or fighters, and we do not write about any fighter as a person.

The site has three parts. The bookmaker reviews score nine UKGC bookmakers on boxing. The guides, starting with how to bet on boxing and boxing betting markets, explain the markets, the scoring and the rules. The tools and quizzes let you work through a price or a scorecard yourself. Everything starts from our home page.

Independence

No bookmaker writes, reviews or approves anything on this site, and none can pay to change a score or a position. Every bookmaker is scored on the same six criteria, set out on our how we rate page, and the order is fixed before any welcome offer is added. A bookmaker without a Gambling Commission licence is not listed at all. When a review is critical, the criticism stays in.

How we are funded

Like most sites of its kind, this site is funded by commission from the bookmakers it links to. Some of our links to a bookmaker carry a commission arrangement: if you open an account through one, the bookmaker pays us a small commission, at no cost to you and with no change to your own offer. There are no paid positions. Links to bookmakers are marked as sponsored links in the page code and open in a new tab. A commission does not change the scores or the order.

The ad disclosure at the top of every page means the bookmakers are featured. No position on this site is bought.

Where our facts come from

Three kinds of source sit behind every page. Licences come from the Gambling Commission’s public register, and each review names the account number we checked, so you can open the same entry yourself. Settlement rules come from the bookmaker’s own published sports rules. Offers and their minimum odds are summarised from the offer as published, with the date shown on the page; the bookmaker’s own terms always apply. The price examples in our guides and tools are illustrative, not quotes from a live market: they use common fight prices so that the arithmetic behind a margin or an implied chance can be followed step by step.

How an edition is made

The site is updated as a whole rather than page by page. For each edition we recheck every bookmaker’s licence and welcome offer, go through the six scores again and then read every page that mentions a fact that has changed. That way a new offer on the offers page cannot sit beside an old one in a review, and a score in the standings always matches the judges’ card on the review. The date in the footer is the day that check was finished. A correction is made on every page the wrong fact appears on, not only on the page where it was reported.

Editorial standards

  • Sourced facts. Offers and their key terms are summarised from the offer as published on a stated date, and the bookmaker’s own terms are linked beside every offer. Where two published versions of an offer disagree, we leave the disputed detail out.
  • Plain numbers. Where a price is discussed, we show the implied chance and the margin, not just the fraction.
  • No promises. We never describe a bet as certain, safe or free of risk, and nothing on the site is betting advice.
  • One edition date. The site is published as a single edition with one honest date, shown in the footer and above the standings, rather than a separate date on every page.
  • Labelled images. Images made with AI carry a visible label, as explained on our AI notice; photographs from Wikimedia Commons are credited on the photo credits page.
  • Safer gambling. Every page links to free support, and our responsible gambling page lists the tools and services available in the UK.

Contact

We want to hear about mistakes. If you spot an error in a review, a price example, a rule or an offer, or you are a bookmaker whose details have changed, write to [email protected] with the page and, if you can, the source of the right fact. Our contact page says what to include and what we cannot help with. A correction is checked against its source, and where a page is wrong it is fixed on every page it appears on in the next edition.
