BoyleSports Boxing Betting Review: Coverage, Prices and House Rules

BoyleSports scores 8.0 out of 10 in our boxing review of nine UKGC bookmakers. Its markets, rules and payments are solid, and it is the only bookmaker in our data with a boxing-specific promotion: an early payout on a knockdown.

R1BoyleSports at a glance

BoyleSports scores 8.0 in our boxing betting standings. Its Gambling Commission entry, account 39469, was active on Friday 9 October 2026, and the offer is for UK customers outside Northern Ireland. It scores 8 on markets per fight, rules and payments, and 7 on undercard and in-play. Its overall mark of 8.0 is level with BetVictor’s; the two differ in where the points come from.

The 8.0 is the plain average of the six marks, and the knockdown promotion does not add to it: offers and promotions never move a score. Its 8 for rules is a mark above BetVictor’s, and our how we rate page shows what that criterion checks.

R2What BoyleSports covers on fight night

BoyleSports scores 8 on markets per fight. A headline bout carries the three-way result and method of victory, and the two areas we tag it for: distance markets and specials. A distance market asks whether the fight lasts every scheduled round, whoever the judges then favour; a total-rounds line such as 8.5 asks the same question with a cut-off. Specials are one-off markets on a particular fight, and they vary from card to card.

The undercard is where it drops a point, to 7. Below the main event, fewer bouts carry the full menu than at bet365 or BetVictor, so a punter who bets through the card will find more at those two. Check the bout you want before fight night. Every market, and how each one settles, is explained on our boxing betting markets page.

R3BoyleSports prices against the market

Like every UK bookmaker, BoyleSports prices a fight three ways: the red corner, the blue corner and the draw. Each price implies a chance. At 4/9 the favourite implies about 69.2%, at 7/4 the underdog about 36.4% and at 20/1 the draw about 4.8%. The total of 110.4% is more than 100, and the difference, 10.4% here, is the margin. On a book balanced across all three outcomes, the bookmaker expects to keep about 9.4p of every £1 staked.

We do not publish a fixed margin for BoyleSports, because it moves fight by fight and is usually wider on round markets than on the result. To see how its prices sit against the market, compare the same fight at BoyleSports and one other bookmaker on the night. Our margin calculator does the sums and shows the fair price for each fighter.

R4In-play between rounds

In-play scores 7. BoyleSports lists in-play betting on the main fights, but the leaders, bet365 at 9 and William Hill and LeoVegas at 8, list a wider range of markets in-play.

Three cautions apply to in-play at any bookmaker. The margin is usually wider than before the first bell, the picture may run a few seconds behind the live action, and the market suspends when something big happens, such as a knockdown. Its knockdown promotion can pay a qualifying bet out before the final bell, the one in-play moment where BoyleSports differs from the rest.

R5House rules for boxing

Rules on void fights score 8, a point ahead of BetVictor, Midnite and LeoVegas. Boxing settlement turns on a short list of events: a fight postponed beyond a set window, a replacement opponent, a missed weight, a change to the scheduled number of rounds and a technical decision after a clash of heads. Across UK bookmakers, a fight that does not take place in the window is usually void and the stake returned. The window, and how each other case is treated, are the bookmaker’s own. Read the boxing section of the BoyleSports rules before your first bet, and see our boxing betting rules guide for each case in plain terms.

R6Banking

Payments score 8. BoyleSports takes UK-permitted methods: debit cards, e-wallets and bank transfers. Credit cards are excluded by UK rules. The welcome offer does not count deposits by Skrill, NETELLER, PayPal, Paysafe or prepaid cards, so if you plan to take it, deposit by debit card. Withdrawals usually go back to the method you paid in with, and the first one can take longer while identity checks finish.

R7Welcome offer and terms

The offer is “Bet £10, get a £40 Free Bet”, and its key terms, summarised from the offer as published on 30 September and 1 October 2026, are at the top of this page and in the box below; the bookmaker’s own terms are the ones that apply. In plain words: it is for new UK customers aged 18 or over, excluding Northern Ireland. You deposit at least £10 and, within 30 days, place a bet of at least £10 at odds of evens or longer; deposits by Skrill, NETELLER, PayPal, Paysafe or prepaid cards do not qualify. The £40 free bet is applied when the qualifying bet first settles and expires after seven days. Cashed-out bets do not count, and the offer is limited to one per customer, household and IP address.

On a fight card, the evens minimum rules out short-priced favourites: a boxer at 1/3 does not qualify, while one at evens or an underdog at 6/4 does. The £40 comes as a single free bet, so it goes on one selection: one fight, one market. The terms state no wagering requirement. All nine offers are compared on our boxing offers page.

R8Early payout on a knockdown

BoyleSports is the only bookmaker in our data with a promotion built for boxing: the Boxing Early Payout, triggered when the opponent is knocked down. As the name suggests, a qualifying bet on your fighter is paid out early if the other boxer goes down, rather than waiting for the result.

The reason it has value is that a knockdown does not decide a fight. A boxer can be dropped in the second round and still take a points decision after twelve. Without the promotion, a bet on the fighter who scored the knockdown depends on the full result; with it, the knockdown alone can settle it. Which fights and markets qualify, whether it applies to new or existing customers and any stake limit are set in the promotion’s own terms, which we have not reproduced here. Read them for each card, because promotions can change or end.

R9Who BoyleSports suits

BoyleSports suits a punter who bets mainly on the headline fights and likes distance markets, specials or the knockdown payout. Its 8.0 out of 10 rests on even marks for markets, rules and payments. It suits someone who bets through the whole undercard or leans on in-play less well; bet365 scores 9 on both, and BetVictor, level on overall score, goes a mark further on the undercard. Betfred, at 8.2, is the other strong choice for group-round and points markets. Our guide on how to bet on boxing covers the steps from account to settled bet.

FAQ

BoyleSports questions

9 questions answered

Is BoyleSports good for boxing betting?

It has a boxing score of 8.0 out of 10. It scores 8 on markets, rules and payments and 7 on undercard and in-play. What sets it apart is a boxing-specific promotion, an early payout on a knockdown, which no other bookmaker in our data has.

Is BoyleSports licensed in the UK?

Yes. BoyleSports holds Gambling Commission account 39469, which was active when we checked on Friday 9 October 2026. You can check it yourself on the Commission’s public register.

What is the BoyleSports early payout on a knockdown?

It is a boxing promotion that, as its name suggests, pays a bet out early when the opponent of your fighter is knocked down. Which fights and markets it covers, and who can use it, are set in the promotion’s own terms on the BoyleSports site. Read them for each card, because promotions can change.

What is the BoyleSports welcome offer?

At the time of writing it is “Bet £10, get a £40 Free Bet” for new UK customers aged 18 or over, excluding Northern Ireland. You deposit at least £10 and, within 30 days, place a qualifying bet of £10 or more at odds of evens or longer. Deposits by Skrill, NETELLER, PayPal, Paysafe or prepaid cards do not qualify. The £40 free bet is applied when that bet first settles and expires after seven days.

Can I use the BoyleSports offer on a boxing bet?

The short terms ask for a qualifying bet at minimum odds of evens and do not exclude boxing. A favourite at 1/3 would not qualify, but an evens shot or an underdog at 6/4 would. Cashed-out bets do not count.

Why is Northern Ireland excluded from the BoyleSports offer?

The terms say the offer is for new UK customers excluding Northern Ireland, and they do not give a reason. If you live in Northern Ireland, the offer is not open to you, so check the full terms before signing up for it.

Can I bet on whether a fight goes the distance at BoyleSports?

Yes, distance markets are one of the three tags we give BoyleSports in our standings. A “goes the distance” bet asks whether the fight lasts every scheduled round, whoever the judges then favour. Our boxing betting markets page explains it beside total rounds.

What happens to a BoyleSports bet if a fight is cancelled?

UK bookmakers usually void a boxing bet if the fight does not happen within a set window, and a void bet returns the stake. BoyleSports sets its own window and its treatment of opponent changes in its rules. Our guide to void and changed fights covers each case.

Can I deposit at BoyleSports with a credit card?

No. UK-licensed bookmakers cannot take them. For the welcome offer, deposits by Skrill, NETELLER, PayPal, Paysafe or prepaid cards do not qualify, so use a debit card if you want it.
