LeoVegas Boxing Betting Review: In-Play, Markets and Void Bouts
LeoVegas is a casino brand first, but it lists most of the main boxing markets in-play, its joint-best mark after the licence, level with payments. We looked at the markets on a fight card, how it prices a bout, the rules when a fight changes and a welcome offer that only works in-play.
R1LeoVegas at a glance
LeoVegas holds a Gambling Commission licence under account 39198, and we checked it on the Commission’s public register on Friday 9 October 2026. That licence is the price of entry to our standings: it obliges the operator to verify your age and identity, to offer deposit limits and time-outs, and to take part in GamStop.
Our overall boxing score is 7.7 out of 10. That places LeoVegas in the lower half of the nine bookmakers we review, level with Coral: strong while a fight is on, thinner before it starts.
| Criterion | Score | What decided it |
|---|---|---|
| Licence | 10 | Gambling Commission licence confirmed on the public register |
| Markets per fight | 7 | The core markets on headline fights, a shorter list than the deepest books |
| Undercard | 6 | The lowest score on the card: less depth below the main event |
| In-play | 8 | Most of the main markets listed in-play, its best score after the licence |
| Rules on void fights | 7 | Void rules on the usual UK pattern, a point below the high-street books |
| Payments | 8 | UK-permitted methods, no credit cards |

R2Markets on a LeoVegas fight card
Every boxing market at any bookmaker starts from the three-way fight result: the red corner, the blue corner or the draw. The markets built on top of it ask how and when the fight ends: method of victory, whether the fight goes the distance, a total rounds line, and round or group-round betting. Our markets score measures how many of those a normal headline fight carries, not a showcase night.
LeoVegas scores 7 here. That puts it level with Midnite, Ladbrokes and Coral, one point behind the 8 of Betfred, BetVictor, BoyleSports and William Hill, and two behind the 9 of bet365, which carries the deepest boxing menu of the nine.
The undercard is where the gap widens, and it is the lowest score on the card at 6, shared only with Midnite and Coral. The score measures how far down a card of eight or ten bouts the markets go beyond a plain result price, and a 6 means the depth thins quickly below the main event. Our boxing betting markets guide explains each market and what it settles on.
R3How LeoVegas prices a fight
We judge a boxing price by its margin, not by the headline number on one fighter. Convert each of the three prices to an implied chance and add them up; whatever the total is above 100% is the margin, the bookmaker’s built-in edge. A book of 4/9, 20/1 and 7/4, for example, implies 69.2%, 4.8% and 36.4%, a total of 110.4% and a margin of 10.4%; on a balanced book the bookmaker expects to keep about 9.4p of every £1 staked. The smaller, the fairer.
Margins change from fight to fight and move as money comes in, so we do not publish one figure for LeoVegas. What holds at every UK book is where margins run widest: the draw and the round markets. A round-betting market spread across twelve rounds, two fighters and a points outcome has more than two dozen selections, and small overpricing on each adds up to a margin several times that of the three-way price.
So check each fight: put LeoVegas’s three prices next to another bookmaker’s in our fight margin calculator, and the smaller total is the better book on that fight.
R4In-play markets
In-play is LeoVegas’s joint-best boxing score after the licence, level with payments at 8 out of 10. Boxing in-play is unusual: prices usually move most in the sixty seconds of the interval, when a cut, a knockdown or a slowing fighter changes the picture. LeoVegas lists most of the main boxing markets in-play, which is what an 8 means on our card, and that is why it scores above its markets and undercard figures, level with William Hill and one point behind bet365.
In-play margins are wider than those before the fight at every bookmaker, so a price that looks generous between rounds still needs the same margin check. Streaming is not part of the score; the rights for boxing change from card to card, so check on the day whether a fight can be watched on the LeoVegas site.
The in-play focus shapes the welcome offer too: its qualifying bet has to be placed in-play.
R5Void and postponed bouts
In boxing a bet is often affected by something other than the result: a postponement, a late replacement opponent, missed weight or a clash of heads. The rules for each case are set by the bookmaker, and LeoVegas scores 7 here, a point below the 8 of the high-street books such as William Hill, Ladbrokes and Coral. The rules follow the usual UK pattern described below, and the boxing clauses sit within the general sports rules, so read them once before your first fight bet.
- Postponed fight. At most UK bookmakers a bet stands if the same two boxers meet within a period set in the rules, and is void with the stake returned if they do not. The length of that period differs between books.
- Opponent changed. A replacement opponent usually makes it a different fight, so bets on the original bout are void and a new market opens.
- Technical decision. The fight result is usually settled on the judges’ cards; method and round bets vary, so check the rule before you bet.
- Retirement between rounds. Most UK bookmakers count a boxer who does not come out for the next round as stopped in the previous round.
Our boxing betting rules guide works through each case, market by market.
R6Payment methods
Payments score 8. Like every licensed bookmaker in Great Britain, LeoVegas cannot take credit cards, for its casino or its sportsbook. Deposits are made with UK-permitted methods such as debit cards, and the cashier on your account shows which ones are open to you. Withdrawals usually go back to the method you deposited with.
The first withdrawal is the one that takes longest, because identity checks have to be complete before money leaves the account. If you plan to bet on a particular fight night, finish verification in the week before, not on the night.
R7Welcome offer and terms
LeoVegas offers new customers a 100% profit boost on one in-play bet of up to £10, with extra winnings capped at £100. Three conditions shape how it works on a fight. The deposit of £10 or more has to be made within 7 days of opting in. The qualifying bet is a single in-play bet of no more than £10 at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or longer, also within 7 days. And the extra profit is capped at £100.
In practice the boost doubles the profit on that one bet, not the stake. A £10 in-play bet at 3/1 has £30 of profit, so the boost adds £30. The cap only bites on long prices: it takes odds of 10/1 on a £10 stake before the extra reaches £100. There is no wagering requirement stated in the short terms, and since 19 January 2026 any wagering on a bonus in Great Britain is capped at ten times the bonus anyway.

18+ New customers only. Opt in, deposit £10+ within 7 days. Place a max £10 in-play bet at min odds 1/1 (2.0) within 7 days. Max extra winnings £100. Profit Boost not valid on e-sports or non-UK/IE horse racing. Exclusions apply. Full T&Cs apply. Please gamble responsibly. GambleAware.org 18+
The offer and key terms above are our summary of the offer as published on 30 September and 1 October 2026. Offers change without notice, so check the LeoVegas promotions page before you opt in. Our boxing free bets and offers page puts it next to the eight other current welcome offers.
R8Our verdict on LeoVegas
LeoVegas earns its place in our standings on two things: most of the main boxing markets listed in-play, and a welcome offer built around in-play betting. It loses ground on market depth and above all on the undercard, its lowest score.
It suits a punter who bets on the main event while watching it. Anyone new to betting on fights should start with our guide on how to bet on boxing, and anyone who wants every bout on the card priced in depth will be better served by bet365 or BetVictor. The full standings are on our boxing betting homepage.
LeoVegas questions
10 questions answered
Is LeoVegas a licensed bookmaker in the UK?
Yes. LeoVegas holds a Gambling Commission licence, which is the first thing we check for every bookmaker in our standings. You can confirm it yourself on its entry in the Commission’s public register.
What is the LeoVegas welcome offer for sports?
For new customers it is a 100% profit boost on one in-play bet of up to £10, with extra winnings capped at £100. You opt in, deposit £10 or more within 7 days and place a single in-play bet of up to £10 at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or longer within 7 days; the extra is capped at £100.
Can the LeoVegas profit boost be used on a boxing fight?
The short terms exclude only e-sports and horse racing outside the UK and Ireland, so an in-play bet on a fight is not ruled out by them. The qualifying bet has to be placed in-play, which on a boxing card means during the bout, so check the full terms before fight night.
How much extra does the profit boost add?
It doubles the profit on the qualifying bet, up to £100 of extra profit. A £10 bet at 3/1 has £30 of profit, so the boost adds £30; the stake itself is not boosted.
Why does LeoVegas score 7.7 out of 10 for boxing?
It scores full marks for its licence, 8 for in-play and for payments, 7 for markets and for its rules on void fights, and 6 for undercard coverage. The six scores are averaged, and the thin undercard is what holds it below the top of our standings.
Does LeoVegas offer round betting on boxing?
Round betting is one of the markets built on the fight result, and it is most likely to be offered on the main event. LeoVegas scores 6 for undercard depth, so if round betting on an undercard bout is what you want, compare it with a deeper book such as bet365.
What happens to a LeoVegas boxing bet if the fight is postponed?
At most UK bookmakers a bet stands if the same two boxers meet within a period set in the betting rules, and is made void with the stake returned if they do not. The length of that period differs, so read the LeoVegas sports rules before you bet; our guide to postponed fights goes through each scenario.
Can I deposit at LeoVegas with a credit card?
No. The ban covers the whole account, so a credit card cannot fund the sportsbook or the casino. Debit cards, e-wallets and bank transfers are the usual alternatives; the cashier lists what is available on your account.
Is LeoVegas better for boxing or for its casino?
LeoVegas is better known for its casino, and its boxing scores for markets and undercard depth sit below those of the high-street books. It suits a punter who mainly bets during fights rather than one who wants markets on every undercard bout.
Is LeoVegas part of GamStop?
Yes. As a Gambling Commission licensee it takes part in GamStop, the national self-exclusion scheme, which blocks every licensed site at once for six months, one year or five years. Deposit limits and time-outs are also in the account settings.
